According to Network CEO Phil Stimac, the
creation of the National Mandamus Project, was inspired in part by The Federalist Society. Created in 1982 at Harvard, Yale and University of Chicago Law Schools, the Society seeks judicial reform of America’s legal system by conservative and libertarian minded professionals.
Supreme Court Justices John Roberts, Antonin Scalia and Samuel Alioto have played active roles in the creation and furtherance of the goals of The Federalist Society.
