“PopeCare Unconstitutional,” White House Says

A White House spokesman told reporters today that Pope Benedict’s new PopeCare Spiritual Insurance Plan for Justice Department lawyers is unconstitutional.

The plan was announced last week by the Vatican. It provides Melinda Haag and other U.S. Attorneys who have intercepted grand jury evidence with counseling and intervention by members of the clergy.

U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder, himself a defendant in a federal grand jury tampering case Complaint also stated it is illegal for taxpayers to be forced to fund any insurance plan that provides treatment and services which violates their conscience or religious beliefs.

Haag is presently being treated at the Mayo Clinic for a job-related post-traumatic stress disorder arising from her tampering with the San Francisco Grand Jury, the disbarment of federal civil rights lawyers, the fixing of investigations into illegal campaign activities of California Governor Jerry Brown and U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer and her role in http://barrapartners.com/.
